Porsche Taycan - and it did "Zoom"!
Info and buying advice on the electric Porsche Taycan
"For over 100 years, cars have made you independent. One makes addicted." This Porsche advertising slogan from the eighties sums it up. Because anyone who has ever driven the electric Porsche Taycan will be impressed by this vehicle. Because, of course, the Porsche Taycan is also a real Porsche: with impressive driving performance, precise handling, a high-quality finish and absolute suitability for everyday use.
Porsche Taycan - up to 80% battery in 15 minutes
You may think what you like about electric vehicles. In the case of the Porsche Taycan, the concept makes sense: while most e-vehicles fall out in the "charging" discipline, the electric Porsche is convincing here. The battery is back to 80% capacity in about 15 minutes, assuming a fast charging station, of course. The standard battery is 79.2 kWh, the "Performance Plus" battery has a capacity of 93.4 kWh. So distances between a realistic 300 and 400km are possible.
Performance without end
Whoever claims that electric cars have to be boring is proven wrong with the Porsche Taycan. Even in the base version, the Taycan accelerates to 100 km/h in just over 5 seconds. If that's not enough for you, you can choose even more performance from the Taycan GTS to the Taycan Turbo S models. In the latter, it takes an impressive 2.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h. Incidentally, this performance does not diminish with continuous sporty driving. Thanks to the high-voltage system, performance peaks can be called up almost indefinitely. A real Porsche, in fact.
Turbo performance - Turbo prices
This level of electric car also has its price, of course. It starts at €85,000 for the base Taycan and quickly climbs to just under €200,000, depending on the model. It should be noted that these are basic prices, i.e. if you tick one or two of the equipment boxes, you can quickly add another €10,000 or more on top. Therefore, one can only advise interested parties against a test drive. Once this is done, the Porsche Taycan won't let you go.
